Though similar to acupuncture, dry needling works on different principles and is used to treat muscular complaints.

Single-use sterile needles are used to stimulate problematic trigger points or to access deep muscles. It is a very useful technique to reduce spasm and discomfort and to improve bloodflow. We generally use it in conjunction with other techniques such as manual therapy or exercise rehabilitation.
